Run in honour of Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, Param Vir Chakra, the Indian Air Force’s only recipient of the nation’s highest wartime gallantry award.

The Sekhon Indian Air Force Marathon is organized in memory of Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, PVC, the sole recipient of the Param Vir Chakra from the Indian Air Force.
